The NASDAQ began yesterday’s session strong, but ultimately fell 1.40% and closed near its low for the day, which is considered classical bearish action despite declining volume.

The S&P 500 began yesterday’s session strong, but ultimately fell 0.52% and closed near its low for the day as volume on the NYSE expanded, which is considered classical bearish action.

The small-cap Russell 2000 bucked the trend yesterday and was the only major index to close higher, not to mention, it reclaimed its 50-DMA, although volume declined which is less than ideal.

The DOW began yesterday’s session strong, but ultimately fell 0.13% and closed near its low for the day as volume expanded, which is considered classical bearish action.
